Yeah that's still kind of my running theory. Wonderland's not a person, but... the idea that it's sort of alive makes a certain kind of sense.

[There's no card or note, or anything that would indicate who might have left the gift. And should Frisk prove...successful, they won't have any idea, ever.

Giving them an instrument seems bizarrely unfitting, and they could always get one from a closet if they so choose. It has to be something personal, and they tried their best.

It's a scarf. Hopefully they'll be tangible enough to wear it if they so choose. It's stitched together out of a dark blue yarn, speckled with bits of silvery sequins like stars in a night sky. Wrapped up in the scarf is a tape, retro-style.

It's a mix-tape. It contains every song Frisk could find about rainbows.

[There's no answer. It's better if they just...let things go. If Napstablook forgets who made the scarf, and who left them those gifts. As long as Frisk is able to disappear without leaving a trace, no one will have to think about it.

[Dorian has left you a really old-fashioned phonograph with a couple of wax cylinders to play on it. Some of them have nice music from famous composers such as Bach and Mozart, and are labeled as such. There is also a Victorian Christmas card with a note:]

Dear Napstablook,

I thought I could share a bit of human history with you this Christmas. The device I have left with you is called an Edison Phonograph, and it was one of the finest technologies in my era. Not to mention, I believe this device was the first of its kind; You couldn't record and play back any sort of audio before it was invented. There should be instructions included with the phonograph, so you should be able to make some use of it.

i was gonna tell you sooner but then that whole thing happened, so.

then his mirror must be influencing him

why else would he lie about it?
